This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Toolpia (“we”, “us”) and our free online tools. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because a privacy policy nobody can read protects nobody.
The short version: the files and numbers you put into our tools are processed inside your own browser and are never sent to us. What we do receive is the same standard technical data any website receives, plus what our advertising and analytics partners collect. Details below.
These never reach us. Every Toolpia tool — the PDF tools, the image tools, the photo tools, and every calculator — runs as JavaScript inside your browser. Your document, your photo, your salary, your loan amount, and your invoice details are processed on your own device.
We do not upload them, we do not store them, and we do not have a server that could receive them even if we wanted one. When you close the tab, they are gone.
You can confirm this yourself: load any tool, disconnect from the internet, and use it. It will still work.
Like almost every website, we and our partners automatically receive standard technical information when you visit:
We use this in aggregate — to see which tools people actually use and which pages are broken. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors, and we do not build profiles of you.
You do not create an account to use Toolpia, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal detail. If you email us, we obviously receive whatever you choose to put in that email, and we use it only to reply to you.
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, measure traffic, and serve advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies will not stop the tools from working — they run locally regardless.
Toolpia is free because it carries advertising, including Google AdSense.
For more on how Google handles data from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Note that advertising partners receive the technical data described in section 2. They do not receive the contents of your files, because those never leave your browser.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand, in aggregate, which tools are used and where visitors run into trouble. It sets its own cookies and receives the technical data described in section 2. It does not receive the contents of your files or the values you type into our tools.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
None. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We could not sell the contents of your documents even if we wanted to, because we never receive them.
Toolpia is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, opt out of personalised advertising using the links in section 5, opt out of analytics using the link in section 6, and use every tool on this site without giving us a single piece of personal information — because none is required.
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant — for example, if we ever started processing something on a server — we would say so plainly rather than bury it here.
